Don't make me a target...

Well, i'm sick. It's no good.

Haven't missed any runs due to it though. I've only missed out on quality because i feel like shit.

Yesterday ran 4 with speedwork despite feeling shitty. Did 4 with 4 X 1 min. at a difficult pace for me. I'm glad I did it because i need speed that is for sure.

Today did an easy 2 @ about 9.45 pace on the treadmill.

Week summary-
Mon- 3
Wed-5
Fri- 4 with speedwork
Sat- 2

4 runs, 14 miles.

Next week- 15 miles, Long-5, Hills on monday, More speedwork on friday

"Aw that's, the way we get by.."

5 miles- 45.04

Felt pretty good this time. Well...i didn't feel bad I guess i should put it. This is only my second 5 miler but i have to say that it is coming together nicely. I think the best part right now is my meddle. I get out there when i'm supposed to and get it done. I think if i had to run 10 miles next i'd get out there and give it a go. And it feels good to know i could do that. It might be a huge and complete struggle...but i think i'd be up for trying.

Job search is frusrating. Not sure what to do. There is an urge to do something...make something happen...get out of this town and this comfortable pad and experience life from a different view.

Not giving up

5 miles- 44.24
2 water stops at Johnson park and Madison Park. A couple stops for traffic. I'm not going to lie. I was pretty fatigued. And walked a little longer than i should have on a couple of the stops. But i pushed through it some how. Just put my head down and plowed on telling my self not to give up.
Overall I 'm feeling good though. I Have to squeeze in a 4 miler tomorrow because i'm behind. So if i do that it will give 16 miles for the week. That's gotta be a high for me in the last two years.
Check you back after the 4 miler tomorrow. Easy 4.

"Ain't no time to pack my bags, my foots outside the door"

My transformation continues. Ran 4 miles again today. It felt decent considering the fucking hills. My route is posted over there ---->. It started out flat for a warmup...then a hill at 5th and payson followed by a friggin 2 block steep hill at 5th and jefferson. Then i wandered into indian mounds park; the whole park being rolling hills. Then I went over into south park for another long, fairly steep hill. The for the finish there was about a 6 block incline from 12th and Harrison to 12th and Jefferson. I got it done though.

4 miles- 37.12

Week- 11 miles in 3 runs(mon, wed, fri)

Next up- Cards/ Cubs tomorrow! BEARS sunday! Easy 3 on sunday. Should get in 12-14 next week.

Another 4 miler in the books...I'm feeling really good about it right now. This one wasn't nearly as hard as the last one.

Time-36.02 Just about 9 min/mile pace.

Rest tomorrow
4 mile on a hilly route Friday
3 mile on Saturday.

And that's my week.

Added a couple new features on the panel also. Check it ----->

I'm back

Nothing like running in the rain. One of my favorite feelings in the world is running hard while there is a nice rain going. It did well to rejuvenate me and get me back on track as for as training is concerned.

3 miles
time-28.08

Started out really slow but kept building the pace. Probably ran the last mile in close to 8 minutes. Which is so incredibly slow. I need to get it all back.

4 miles on Wednesday. Check it.
